In the 8 styles of yoga position, you can find a lot of pose. Out of all the positions, Hatha is the most popular with meditation as the ultimate goal. It is recommended that yoga is not treated just as an exercise but something to relax your mind and body. Therefore the purpose of each asana is not to build muscle mass or strength.

The Corpse Pose (Savasana) is relatively easy and very relaxing. It can be done in between other yoga positions, and also during the final relaxation period. You will find the Fish Pose also known as Matsyasana as a great position for meditation. It help relieves tension in the neck and shoulders. The Bow Pose (Dhanurasana) is a great stretching posture. The Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana) and the Locust Pose (Salabhasana) seem to be the best for those more flexible. Not forgetting the crazy position called the Crow Pose (Kakasana).
Yoga is all about relaxation. It might sound easy but statistic has shown that most people have no idea how to relax. When you are feeling tense during your relaxation that is not called relax. Doing so in a yoga position will hurt you. Get a position that will give you a stage of clam mind and it is good to have some special breathing techniques.
Releasing such tension can be as simple as flexing your foot a few times. Taking some slow and deep breaths can help too. And remember to set and follow your own pace, no two people are alike. Yoga position is something that can conform itself to where you are at.
